Introduction
Exams
The midterm exam covers lessons 1 through 4, while the final exam covers material presented in lessons 6 through 9. For each exam, you will write paragraphs of definition, interpretations of quotations, and essays of literary analysis. The questions will be similar to those you have answered for your assignments. Since you will be able to use your textbooks during exams, you may draw upon them as sources for examples to support your responses. Further explanation about the three types of questions and model responses are provided below.
